As I look out my window today, it's dark and rainy, and my hammock is full of leaves....sad to say, some people feel hammock time is coming to and end. For others, they look forward to swaying in their hammock on their sun porch, or even hanging a hammock chair in their basement family room. There's nothing better than the feeling of relaxation you get with a hammock. That's why I feel hammocks are great for all seasons!

Here are some storage tips to keep your hammock in great condition for next season:
- You should wash your hammock before you put it away. You can do this in your bathtub. Use a mild soap, like dishwashing liquid, and swish around to remove as much dirt as possible, never use bleach!
-Wipe the wooden spreader bars to remove any dirt. Rinse it well.
-Lay it out on the grass or driveway or your deck until totally dry. Do NOT store your hammock while it is still damp.
-Store your hammock in a dry spot free of any critters. Our hammocks can stand a lot, but we can't promise you much luck with squirrels, mice and other small creatures!
-Keep your hanging hardware and hammock and accessories all together so next year, as soon as it's time, get it out, dust it off, and RELAX!

Mayan hammocks are great this time of year for campers or hunters. You can easily hang them between trees and that way you keep your body off the cold ground. They are extremely comfortable as they conform to your body like a glove.

Stop by our Fall sale and take 10% off the hammock of your choice, the holidays are here! now's the time to give the gift of relaxation.
